For new ARMY
Concert Etiquette for New ARMY
Going to your first BTS-related show? A few basics: • Learn the fan chants — ARMY calls out the members' names in order (Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook!) and joins key parts of songs. • Respect sightlines — keep phones and lightsticks at a considerate height. • Look after each other — share water, help anyone who feels unwell, and be kind in queues. • Follow venue rules on filming and banners. The purple ocean of synced ARMY Bombs is part of the magic — enjoy the moment as much as the footage.
The ARMY Bomb: A Lightstick Guide
The official BTS lightstick is called the "ARMY Bomb." Beyond looking great, it connects via Bluetooth to the venue's system so thousands of lightsticks change color in perfect sync — creating the famous "purple ocean." Tips: • Register your ARMY Bomb in the official app before a show so it can be controlled during the concert. • Bring spare batteries. • Multiple official versions exist; any genuine ARMY Bomb can typically sync at shows. Even at home, waving your lightstick during a livestream is a small, joyful way to feel part of the ocean.
